Pabla Villa Esparza “Polly,” 81, lifelong resident of Deming passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022 at the home of her daughter, surrounded by her loving family. A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 10 o’clock in the morning at The First Assembly of God Church. Final inurnment will take place at Mountain View Cemetery immediately after the services where she will be laid to rest with her husband, Tomas. Baca's had the vision to manufacture suitable granite memorials locally and that dream was realized in 1983. Since that time we have been helping families select and design proper memorials to mark the graves of their loved ones.

Three years later Heather Mortuary in Lordsburg became a part of Baca's Flagship and in 1987 Baca's of Silver City was opened to further expand our family. We have been able to provide a full line of services by enhancing our facilities with on-site crematories and a cemetery memorial granite company. John A. Robinson, 63, of Mimbres passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Gila Regional Medical Center. Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Baca’s Funeral Chapels. John was born on February 16, 1959 in Independence, Missouri to Wilma Jean McNair and James Paul Robinson. He is preceded in death by his mother, Wilma J. McNair; stepfather, Kelly Carter; and sister, Jacqueline Robinson. Our establishments have been created with an atmosphere of peace and beauty.
Howard was born on March 4, 1950 in Steubenville, Ohio to the late Howard and Doris Smith. He was preceded in death by one brother, George Smith, and two sisters, Virginia Nichols and Barbara Devetski. Survivors include his wife, Corinne Smith, and four... Alice was born on Feb 7th, 1936, to Demetrio Hernandez and Celia Ornelas Hernandez.
